The starting rotation this year looks like Mark Prior, Kerry Wood, Carlos Zambrano and Matt Clement. The club added Derrick Lee to an offense that includes Sammy Sosa and Moises Alou. The team is managed by Dusty Baker and has been located in Chicago since 1903. They have made the playoffs 13 times and last won the World Series in 1908. Since 1916, the team has been playing its games in Wrigley Field, which has a capacity of 38,902.

The Cubs, preseason favorites to win the NL Central, are in for a rough finish to keep a Wild Card slot as they play host to Atlanta for their final three games. Look for an exciting output by Greg Maddux as he faces his former team for the last game on Sunday. Chicago has shown signs of collapse as the season draws to a close, with offensive woes such as Sammy Sosa's lack of output, Moises Alou with only 7 hits in the last 10 games, and a bullpen that has to stop giving up leads. The team must correct these problems on the fly to take at least two of three from the Braves.
