In New Orleans, the Hornets are a John and a Paul shy of the Beatles without their stars Jamal Mashburn and Baron Davis. The team is just not the same band. It seems the Yoko Ono in the Big Easy is injuries. With the most elusive bill of health in basketball history, Mashburn can’t seem to rub his name from the injury list. Losing Davis is more uncommon than Mashburn but no less devastating. With the injured list filling up, the sting in New Orleans isn’t what it used to be. All-Star Jamal Magloire will be called on to right the hive with inspired play in the middle. The Hornets may be down, but this team is certainly not out.
