Bruin’s fans cannot bear another Beantown Letdown in the playoffs. To put their worries into hibernation, rookie goalie Andrew Raycroft is destined for post-season stardom with solid net-minding. Behind an underrated blueline, the Raycroft will keep puck out of the net and the B’s in the race for the Stanley Cup. Of course, the Boston Captain Joe Thornton, must have a stellar post-season to keep Boston in the hunt. The 24-year-old scored a whopping 101 points last season. He can play. Boston’s coaching may be a little suspect with a new face behind the bench every season. Mike Sullivan, previously serving as the coach of Boston’s AHL affiliate, has stepped in and done a quality job this season; after all, the Bruins are skating in the post-season. But Sullivan may less comfortable with his players than his adversaries, forcing him into mistakes. Nonetheless, with one of the top teams in the East, it will be interesting to see who can bear the Bruin attack.
