Brian Sutter got the most from the Blackhawks in his first season behind the bench (2001-2002), but last season was a nightmare for the \\\'Hawks. With the loss of big left winger Eric Daze to injury and the off the ice troubles of often-troubled Theo Fleury, the season was one to forget. Sutter hopesd to move closer to that first season in this campaign with a healthy Daze and an absent Fleury. Unfortunately, Daze has been sidelined this season with back trouble. The Blackhawks boast a quality offense with Daze; second-year player Tyler Arnason (who made the All-Rookie Team last season); and former first-round draft pick Tuomo Ruutu. The impressive Ruutuis holds the future of the franchise since the Blackhawks brought him from Finland. Craig Anderson is filling in at goalie for Jocelyn Thibault who is out with another injury-plagued season.
